ATZP’S GUIDING PRINCIPLES SCIENCE · SOLIDARITY · PEACE

ATZP is an independent, non-partisan and religiously neutral civil society organisation based in Vienna. Founded through the commitment of people of Turkish heritage in Austria, it is guided by Atatürk’s understanding of reason, science, education, solidarity and peace.

We honour the contribution of the families and generations who came to Austria decades ago to work and build a new future. Their work has helped shape Austria. Their legacy inspires us to take responsibility today and contribute to our shared future.

Our work is for everyone, regardless of origin, language, religion, gender or social status. In particular, we support people with a migration background in developing their potential, participating as equals and actively shaping Austria’s shared future.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Defend human dignity. Strengthen solidarity.

We oppose racism, extremism and radicalism in all their forms. Human dignity, equal rights and peaceful coexistence guide our work.

Solidarity belongs in every part of life: neighbourhoods, workplaces, schools, cultural associations, youth centres, hospitals and public spaces. We contribute our knowledge, experience and time.

“Peace at home, peace in the world.”

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
